Creation of Data Base layer for Utility Base Mapping in 4-step Digitization Process


We undertake the digitization of electric utility resources, customer listing and GIS integration, which includes 4-step procedure, as explained below:

GPS study of electric customers and utility assets

  • Door-to-door study, determining all customers and their service connections
  • Preparation of GIS layer and overlaid on the satellite imagery

Digitization of electric utility resources [ 33 KV Substation, 11 KV Birdfeeders, Submission Transformer (DT) and electric poles ]

  • Use of differential GPS to establish geo-coordinates with acceptable precision
  • Matching the study information with the utility’s commercial records as recorded in ledgers

GIS application, listing and codification of electric customers and its resources with described relationships w.r.t power distribution

  • Collecting and upgrading information for every client with regard to DT, including information viz. condition of the meter, load kind, approved load, connection status, phase information, etc.
  • Identifying fake relationships, i.e. those that exist in the ledger but physically non-existent

LiDAR Mapping


Our mobile/terrestrial LiDAR mapping system enables our surveyors to capture vast amounts of field data and imagery over complex and large projects in a short period of time. Particularly useful for utility corridor mapping, linear infrastructure construction, roads and rail as-built, urban mapping, mining, coastal and waterway mapping, the system can be mounted on any moving vehicle.
